The winding road of the question mark
has led us to this place, this singular, seldom spot.
So what do we make of two answers to any question?

Who is that crackling on the wire?
What am I to make of this?
Where is this muse place?

Maybe a question with two answers
should have two points, three for three,
and that little snail of infinity for the plethora,

Why can’t we see the clear edges of our choices?
How would we know?
Is this the only way through?

endlessly proliferating uncertainties
we could snatch out of the air like Eve’s apples,
questions for which there are no sure answers,

Haven’t I been here before?
Something is better than nothing, yes?
Can you hear me now?

questions that drive us to nag the fates to give us a clue
already. And what of questions that are really rhetorical
like a discouraged who-the-hell-knows or the surly wtf?

Do you know what I mean?
Should we be doing this?
What are you waiting for?
