There is no trying; there’s just finishing or not finishing period

Sentences either end or they don’t.

Or they run on.

I was just thinking about all those poor souls
who live lives with nothing to get over.

No stops that tether them to great suffering.

Mortals who fall into no black holes.

No flat hands in their faces.

No firing squads at the quitting, slug marks in their throats.

No hands turned to the sky in surrender.

No little points of darkness.
